Kirsten Theaker

Kirsten grew up on a grain farm South of Eatonia, Sk, where her family grows specialty crops such as mustard, canaryseed, chickpeas and lentils. She graduated the U of S with a degree in Agronomy and minor in Soil Sciences.  She is a Professional Agronomist with the Saskatatchewan Institute of Agrologists and a Certified Crop Advisor.

Kirsten started her private consulting business called KT Agronomy, after working in the ag retail industry for 8 years. She enjoys advising local farmers, focusing on agronomic aspects that provide residual or long term management benefits. Still farming in the Eatonia area with her husband, she has a vested interest in the challenges of growing in the heart of the Palliser Triangle and has always been a farm safety and education advocate. In Kirsten’s spare time she enjoys working alongside her husband, improving their homestead, and spending time with her daughter.
