I have worked in the Agriculture Retail Industry for the past 18 years. I started my career with an independent Ag retail in Carman MB. in 2003 as an agronomist /site manager. In 2007 I was offered a job with Cargill Ag Horizons Canada as an agronomist heading up their crop consulting program in the Morris Mb area. The opportunity arose to move into my home territory of Carman/Winkler/ Morden as the crop consulting agronomy lead at Cargill Winkler location where I worked there until February of 2014.

In March of 2014 I took on a contract role as the Agronomist for the National Sunflower Association of Canada, this role included working with sunflower growers across Canada, finding new and better practices for growing sunflowers, and helping develop new sunflower varieties for the Canadian market by overseeing the NSAC breeding program.

During my time with NSAC I was also running my own independent crop consulting business with 3 growers on about 9000 acres. In January of 2017 I was offered a job with a former colleague who had started his own Independent Agronomic Crop Consulting business, Field2Field Agronomy. I have now become partner in the business and this is where I am to date where we service approximately 90 - 100,000 acres each season.

I have my CCA, my 4 R Nutrient Training certificate and Tech Ag designation as a member of the Manitoba Institute of Agrology.

If I’m not at work I can be found Coaching hockey, hunting ,fishing, helping operate the family farm or volunteering on many boards in my home town of Miami.
